My First Cat

Simba is the first cat we saved from the street. My mother heard a cat howling outside, chasing people in the street, looking for some affection, but no one took any notice of him.

My mother brought him home, and we had no idea how he will get along with our dog, but the two of them became very good friends, as you can see in the picture below.

Simba is sooooooo cute and it's nice to see the dog likes him. One of my favorite cats was an orange cat named Odie. He was the sweetest cat, very affectionate. Back then I also owned dogs, and I never had a problem with bringing a cat home. There was the initial hissing/growling for maybe a day but most times, it was just a 'well look at this, our mom brought home another cat' LOL. Actually, the dogs really could care less, it was basically the cats themselves who had to do the adjusting, which pretty much only took 2/3 days. They would just avoid each other and then eventually realize the new member of the family wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
